Our caterpillars are in their cocoons! I was able to watch one caterpillar in the middle of the transformation and I must say that God is AMAZING! It reminds me of my relationship with the Lord. Before I became a Christian I was an ugly, spiny caterpillar. After undergoing a transformation of the heart, I became a beautiful butterfly!
They will be in cocoons for 7 - 10 days and then emerge as Painted Lady Butterflies! Here are pictures of our "pets" in their cocoons.
Once the caterpillars formed their cocoons,
the lid had to be pinned to the butterfly habitat
I bought at the store.

Seriously this is the coolest lesson for the kiddos. God does transform us. Praise God for friends like you who live in Truth!
