We had a very special trip to the ice cream shop tonight to celebrate Joshua's first time peeing in the big potty!!! We started officially potty training in January and were borrowing a little potty from a friend that we needed to give it back. I bought a replacement potty but thought it would be good to force Joshua out of his comfort zone and make him go on the big potty if he thought the "normal" potty was gone (I have it hidden in our clset so he can't see it). I didn't think it would be so difficult and all I have to say is today was a long day! After dozens of "dry tests" all day, finally around 7:00pm he peed!
Jacob was in the bath, Joshua was on toilet and I decided we would enjoy our outing with the kids in pajama's. The kids got a few "aww"s - it was great!

I don't think he liked rocky road too much so he decided that my cookies n' cream was for him

When Joshua finished my cup, he said he was ready for all the other flavors! Nice try, buddy! He should be lucky he got ice cream 30 minutes before bedtime!
